II. The Almighty's tips
To ensure the fastest and most effective response, you must follow these tips.
1.GENERAL
Before sending a question (submitting a ticket):
- Always consult the forum topics or in game about the Rules of the game.
- Always ask other players your question on the Help forum for your language and in the international forum Babel Tower II; whose links are also available in the game under Forum and Help.
- Make sure the email address with which you registered for the game is still valid because that is the address to which a copy of the response will be sent. You can change this e-mail by going to My account.
- Check the FAQ: numerous questions can be solved thanks to the FAQ!
If you think you are the victim of a bug, it may simply be that you don't know how the game works. You can easily check it in the Rules or by asking other experienced players in forum or by private messages.
2.A few more tips
When you write a question:
- Do not use abbreviations or texting terms, we sometimes use computer translators to translate player's questions and these computer programs do not recognize abbreviations or phonetic phrases.
- Be clear and concise, and explain your query exactly. The admins are very familiar with the game mechanics but to give you a precise answer, the question must also be precise. They can not guess the context if you don't give it to them.
- Be sure to select the category matching your problem if your request concerns overthrowing the castle in a De Gloria Regni game (RK, SK, or NK) or if it is a payment problem.
3.How to report a bug
If you wish to report a bug:
- Make sure you look through the Rules and the related forum to ensure that this is not a fake bug.
- Describe in your post step by step (click by click) what you do with your account, what is supposed to happen, and what the bug causes instead.
- Specify in your message which web browser you use and which version (same for mobile). (Updating a browser often resolves bugs).
- Send a screenshot of the bug if it's a visual problem, for example by putting the image up by attaching the file to the ticket.
CAUTION: by sending any screenshot, do not use the forum tags because they work only in the forum and not in the Help Desk.
All this information is necessary because to identify and fix a bug, we must be able to reproduce the bug or malfunction and that's generally impossible without those details. A bug that is precisely described is a bug that is a quickly repaired.
4.New features and updates
If your question is about a new feature, don't forget to read the news announcement about it. This is located on the dashboard or in the Announcements section of the game forum -> Babel Tower II.
5.Issue regarding the forum moderation
If you have a problem on the forum:
- Contact the Censors or the Forum Admin for your area of the game.
- If you think you are a victim of abuse by a censor, contact his superiors in the censor hierarchy, and use the Help Desk only as a last resort.
6.In game OOC insults (or through forum private message)
If you are a victim of insults, in a tavern, via private In-Game messages, or via private Forum messages:
- in a tavern, send a unretouched screenshot of the insult.
CAUTION: in sending any screenshot, do not use the forum tags because they work only in the forum. - in a private message, do not delete the message.
- Whether a tavern insult or a private message, always copy out the rude and insulting words in your language and accompany them by a translation in English or French.
7.Multi accounts
If you want to denounce possible multi-account characters:
Write your list of names in your message separated only by a space. Don't put commas or dashes or characters of any kind between the names you are reporting. You must also include a sentence saying why you suspect them.
8.Spam and flood
Do not send multiple copies of your questions even if you don't get an answer immediately. A flood of messages to the Help Desk will be considered spam because it slows the responses to all players. If your character is placed in custody by the Admins, it is useless to harass the Help Desk with letters; send just one, and for your part, check that you have not forgotten to declare a shared internet connection if several people play the game from your home, or second character if you own several characters.
NB: you can reopen a ticket closed by sending a new message in it. Also, if your ticket is still open and you need an answer from us, send a new message in the same ticket. No need to create a brand new ticket. This will be considered as spam.
9.Eradication
If you write to protest the eradication of your account, it is essential to give the date when your account was eradicated. Without this information, it is impossible for the Admins to verify the reasons for eradication.
10.Miscellaneous
- Never write on behalf of another player except in a very serious situation. If one of your friends can't connect, don't worry, the account will not be eradicated but, after a time, will be set aside , which does not destroy the account.
- Admins do not fix up mistakes committed by players, except in exceptional cases, such as big mistakes with tokens for example.
Enjoy the game!
